Pitch Pots

Support available

  • Up to £1000

Deadline

  • Rolling until March 2026

Pitch Pots are a simple way for you to access additional support to enhance new or existing one-off projects and screenings.

As part of the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN), we award funding on behalf of Screen Scotland and the BFI National Lottery to support audience-facing screening activity that helps audiences across Scotland access and enjoy a broad range of films, regardless of geography or circumstance.

Film Hub Scotland Members can apply for up to £1,000 to support impactful, one-off events that enhance your programme, or special initiatives that help you widen your audience.

Support is allocated on a rolling basis to projects that meet the criteria of the fund. Eligible projects must be completed by March 2026.

Priority Areas

Your application should outline how your project will address one or more of the priority areas outlined in BFI’s Screen Culture 2033 strategy.

  • Engaging with children and young people
  • Accessing a wider choice of film
  • Tackling social, economic and geographic barriers
  • Engaging with heritage collections that reflect the diversity of the UK

Support to complete your application

The Film Hub Scotland team is available to discuss your application and potential proposals. Please book a 1-to-1 Funding Surgery with a member of the team via our Booking page.

If you require assistance to complete your application, the BFI provides an Access Support Fund. You can apply for support before, during and after your application.
