Would you like to develop a partnership to reach your Next Audience?
Expressions of interest are now being accepted for BFI FAN Innovation Lab: Next Audiences, a two-day residential training event led by arts diversity expert Huttson Lo.
The Innovation Lab will focus on diversifying audiences, particularly on growing audiences from underrepresented ethnicities. It will include facilitated discussions, workshops, guest speakers, and networking events, with an emphasis on partnership work and talent development.
Participation will be in pairs. Each partnership will be made up of at least two decision-makers: one from a venue organisation with a regular screening programme + one from an organisation led by people who may experience racism.
Each partnership will leave with at least one screening project to deliver together, in true collaboration. Apply with a partner in mind, or let our facilitator pair you up.
Lab dates: 20-22 April 2022; consultation begins in March
Fee: £200 (+VAT), inc. meals and accommodation. Ask your Hub about bursaries and freelancer honorariums.
