The UK Cinema Association (UKCA) host this one-day conference which is open both to Association members and to colleagues from across the wider industry.
Following last year’s inaugural UKCA conference, which looked at issues around digital cinema technology, the Association sought views on key topics for a follow-up event in 2015. The issue of marketing, and how to grow cinema audiences and revenue, was by some way the most popular suggestion.
The forthcoming event will therefore look at the following key themes: what more operators might do to market the big screen experience: how they can maximise revenue from their audience; and what lessons there are to be learnt not just from within the industry but from other relevant sectors.
