Cinema For All's Community Cinema Conference 2016

Join Cinema For All for the UK’s biggest gathering of film societies, community cinemas, village screens and film clubs for a weekend celebration of volunteer-led cinema.

Draft programme:
  • Friday night from 6pm: an evening of cinema at The Void followed by welcome drinks and nibbles. Saturday from 9am: a day of workshops, panel sessions and preview screenings
  • Saturday evening from 6pm: the Film Society of the Year Awards followed by an after party
  • Sunday from 9am: more workshops, films and panels
In reflection of Cinema For All’s 70th anniversary celebrations, the theme of this year’s conference is Community Cinema Heroes – the past, present and future of volunteer-led cinema. Through sessions and workshops they will be exploring the importance of individual volunteers, their impact on communities and how we can ensure the future of community cinema.

There will also be screenings of preview titles from the Cinema For All Booking Scheme and filmmaker Q&A sessions.

Tickets start from just £65 for the whole weekend. Early bird passes are available until 31 August, after which ticket prices increase by £10 each. For more information and to book your pass please visit Cinema For All’s website.
