This one-day event hosted by the ICO will showcase material from the UK's national and regional film archives, new restorations coming into distribution and films soon to be made available by the ICO as part of the BFI's Britain on Film project.
Incorporating screenings, workshops, keynote speakers, case studies, panels and presentations on how best to programme and market archive films, this event will give exhibitors the opportunity to gain cinematic inspiration, practical skills and knowledge of the support available to show archive work.
Watershed will also be holding the inaugural Cinema Rediscovered
(28-31 July 2016), a new international archive film event over the three days immediately following the Archive Screening Day. Screening Day delegates will be eligible for a concessionary rate across tickets for Cinema Rediscovered. This event costs £25 and the deadline to register is Friday 8 July. For more information and to register please visit ICO’s website.
