Live archive cinema tour Made by the Sea
visits coastal communities from Ullapool to the Isle of Barra, presenting little-seen gems of Scottish life on our coast and seas.

tour starting in Leith on 5 August and re-tracing the historic herring route down Britain's east coast.
Edinburgh’s remarkable FloWave Ocean Energy Research Facility hosts a unique screening of Michael Powell's The Edge of the World
at the Edinburgh International Film Festival on 1 July.

This feature-length programme takes in Britain’s gorgeous, varied coast, including films from 1901 to 1978.
